Regent's Park London

Last weekend was awesome. I have been to Regent's Park for quite a few times now. But every time i happen to find myself in Regent's Park i am camera-less. This weekend i decided to go to Regent's Park while making sure that my cannon camera is inside my bag. First stop, Baker Streets tube station. I came out and the first thing i did was to take the snap shot of who?? You know him? NO, you don't know him. YES...sherlock Homes....

Next to Sherlock homes statue is Madame Tussauds London. I personally do not agree with the idea of having statues of famous people. But anyway it is one of the the attraction for tourists in London and as i appreciate all kinds of arts so i am fine with its existence.

After walking a few streets, i started my Regent's Park exploration. Here are a few pictures i took inside the park.

The park is full of flora and some Fauna. It has beautiful open green lawns and fountains with water sprinkling out. It has some eye catching green belts with flowers along the edges. You can sit on the bench along these green belts and give some comfort to your eyes.

It has some huge collection of different classes and colours of Roses. You can find red, yellow,Pink, white and many other colours.

From the park you can see the British telecommunication tower. I tried to capture a glimpse of it in this picture.

In the middle of the park, there is a circular central part, with small and beautiful lakes.

Inside the park you can find pigeons, ducks and also many squirl and if you have something to feed them they can come to surround you.

At the end spending my whole day in Rengent's park i still could not finish it and i will go someday again to see each and every part of this beautiful Royal Park which is located in the heart of this cultural capital of the world.
